  They have recently re-opened under new management and we were very pleased by our stay. The rooms were cute and clean. The dock was prefect for star gazing and Melony was very helpful and friendly. Great value. We'll definitely be back.

  I had a lovely stay at the Tamarac island Motel. The new owners, Melony and Serge are fantastic. As well as this, the rooms were fantastic, they were kept very clean and had all the amenities we could ask for. The room had a beautiful deck with a great view of Lake Huron as well as easy access to a large dock with two kayaks and a paddle boat. Over all the rooms were clean and comfy, and throughout the day I had a blast! I went swimming off the dock and kayaking around the many islands on Lake Huron.

  This is such a hidden gem! The host Melony made us feel exceptionally welcome introducing us to the area and recommending hikes, restaurants etc. The rooms were clean with a cute 'cottagey' touch. The views out of the room and the sunsets are fantastic! They also provide wood for a campfire at night and kayaks and canoes to enjoy the water! Highly recommend!
